Ivory Latta Free Throw Championships
CFC invites your school to hold a Free Throw contest to determine your school's best free throw shooter. Your best free throw shooter will represent your school in the IVORY LATTA FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIPS being held during the 16th Annual CFC Party, Saturday December 13, 2008 at Rock Hill High School.
All participants will be broken up into three Divisions: Elementary, Middle, and High School.
Grades 1,2,3- Rim 8 feet high with free throw line at 10 feet.
Grades 4 & 5 Rim 9 feet high with free throw line at 12 feet.
Grades 6-12 Rim 10 feet high with free throw line at 15 feet.
A $1.00 donation by each contestant will be greatly appreciated and used toward the purchase of children's books to be given at the CFC party, December 13, 2008 at Rock Hill HS. A child may participate without donation.
First Round
We ask each grade to determine their best girl and boy free throw shooters. (Five shots per free throw shooter. Certificates for each girl and boy grade winner.
Second Round
We ask that the best girl and boy from each grade compete against the other grades winning your school to determine "BEST IN SCHOOL". (Ten shots per free throw shooter). Each girl and boy "BEST IN SCHOOL" winner will receive a certificate and IVORY LATTA autographed sportswear.
Third Round
Each girl and boy "BEST IN SCHOOL" winner will represent their school at the IVORY LATTA FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIPS at the CFC event.
